These terms cover how you can use Brokers Alerts, what you agree to if you submit a report through Report a Broker, and the limits on what we promise. By using this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who This Is For
Brokers Alerts is for people researching forex and trading brokers, and for those who’ve had an experience with a broker they want to report. You must be at least 18 to use Report a Broker or submit any information to us. Nothing on this site is written for, or intended to be used by, anyone under that age.
What Brokers Alerts Is, and Isn’t
Brokers Alerts publishes broker reviews, complaint data, and educational guides. It is not a financial advisor, not a regulator, and not a law firm. A Trusted, Neutral, Scam Warning, or Under Review status reflects our own review process, described in full on How We Review, not a guarantee, license, or personal recommendation. Full risk and advice disclaimers live on our Risk Disclaimer page and apply across this entire site.
Using This Site
You can browse, read, and share links to Brokers Alerts freely. You may not scrape, systematically extract, or republish our review content, scoring methodology, or complaint database in bulk without our written permission. You may not use the site to harass, impersonate, or defame anyone, including brokers named in a review. You may not attempt to interfere with the site’s security or availability, or submit false information through any form on the site, including Report a Broker.
Submitting a Report Through Report a Broker
Report a Broker exists so people can tell us about a real experience with a broker. When you submit a report, you’re confirming that the information you’re giving us is true to the best of your knowledge, and that you’re not submitting it to harass a competitor, settle a personal dispute unrelated to broker conduct, or knowingly make a false claim. We review submissions before they influence a broker’s public status, described in How We Review, but we rely on you to submit honestly.
By submitting a report, you give Brokers Alerts permission to use, summarize, and publish the substance of what you’ve told us as part of our editorial coverage of that broker, including in aggregate reporting on trends across multiple reports. We handle your contact information and identity according to our Privacy Policy, including our practice of not sharing a reporter’s identity with the broker being reported except where we’re legally required to. If a report turns out to contain information you knew to be false when you submitted it, you agree to indemnify Brokers Alerts against any resulting legal claim, cost, or damage. Honest reports made in good faith, even ones that later turn out to be mistaken on a detail, are not what this clause is about.
Intellectual Property
The text, scoring methodology, and complaint data compiled on Brokers Alerts belong to us, except for material we’ve licensed or that you’ve submitted under the terms above. You may quote and link to our content with attribution. You may not present our review verdicts, scores, or complaint data as your own work, or use them to build a competing database without permission.
Third-Party Links and Broker Websites
Links to broker websites and other third parties are provided for reference. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or their terms. Some links on Trusted reviews and Best Brokers pages are paid referral links, disclosed in full on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
No Professional Advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. See our full Risk Disclaimer for what that means in practice, including for trading and investment decisions specifically.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
We work to keep broker information current, and every review carries a visible last updated date, since regulation status and complaint history change over time. We don’t guarantee that every detail on this site is accurate, complete, or current at the moment you read it. Always verify a broker’s license directly with the relevant regulator before relying on anything here.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Brokers Alerts is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, your reliance on its content, or your interactions with a broker or any other party you found through this site. You use this site at your own risk.
Termination
We can suspend or restrict access to the site, or refuse or remove a submission, at our discretion, particularly where we believe a user has violated these terms or submitted false information. We’ll act in good faith, but we’re not obligated to provide advance notice.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the site develops, particularly as new features like Best Brokers pages or comparison tools go live. The date below reflects the last real change.
Governing Law
Brokers Alerts has not yet completed business registration. Once incorporation is finalized, this section will name the governing law and jurisdiction that applies to these terms. Until then, use of this site is governed by the laws applicable to your own place of residence to the extent local law requires it.
