Scam Warning

HighMarkets Review

Brokers Alerts put $100 into a live HighMarkets account to see what actually happens when a real trader asks for their money back. Weeks later, that money hasn’t moved. While tracing the license behind HighMarkets, we also found something the company doesn’t advertise: the same regulatory accreditation that covers HighMarkets also covers a broker already sitting on this site with a Scam Warning of its own.

About HighMarkets

HighMarkets is a CFD trading brand operated by DXA Seychelles Limited, a company registered in Seychelles under number 8438281-1. The brand offers trading across six asset categories through a web platform and a mobile app, both built around TradingView’s charting engine rather than MetaTrader. Four account tiers are on offer: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and an Islamic swap-free option layered onto any of the three. HighMarkets doesn’t publish a founding date anywhere on its site, so how long the brand has actually been operating under this name is impossible to pin down from its own materials.

Seychelles FSA license SD218 is confirmed. It appears on the regulator's Capital Markets register, tied to DXA Seychelles Limited, with highmarkets.com listed among the entity's associated websites. This is a genuine, verifiable license rather than an unconfirmed claim. What buyers should weigh alongside that confirmation is everything in the Regulation Status section. The same license also covers Algobi, and Seychelles-level oversight is lighter than what top-tier regulators provide.

Regulation Status

HighMarkets holds the Securities Dealer license SD218, issued by Seychelles’ Financial Services Authority to DXA Seychelles Limited. It shows up on the regulator’s own public register, not just on HighMarkets’ marketing pages. That alone puts this review in different territory than most of the brokers we’ve flagged, where the license itself couldn’t be pinned down at all.

What the register also shows is where the caution comes in. DXA Seychelles Limited isn’t accredited to run one website. The same license backs more than one branded trading platform, and one of those other brands is Algobi, a broker Brokers Alerts has already reviewed and rated a Scam Warning after our own withdrawal test on that platform went unresolved.

A single Securities Dealer accreditation covering multiple, separately branded consumer-facing sites isn’t against the rules in Seychelles, plenty of licensed firms there operate more than one storefront, but it does mean a trader signing up on highmarkets.com has no way of knowing, from HighMarkets’ own pages, that they’re dealing with the exact same regulated entity that already left us with an unpaid withdrawal under a different name.

Seychelles’ FSA is also an offshore-tier regulator. It requires real paperwork and a real license number, which is more than several brokers on this site can claim, but it doesn’t carry the enforcement weight or client-protection framework of a regulator like the FCA or ASIC. A trader depositing here is relying on a jurisdiction with lighter oversight and, now, a documented history tied to this same license.

License Verification

Account Types & Trading Conditions

Account Min. Deposit Max. Leverage Spread Commission
Silver N/A 1:200 Not disclosed (baseline, no discount) N/A
Gold N/A 1:200 Up to 50% lower than Silver (no pip figure given) N/A
Platinum N/A 1:200 Up to 75% lower than Silver (no pip figure given) N/A
Islamic N/A 1:200 (swap-free variant layered onto any tier) Same as whichever base tier it's layered on N/A

HighMarkets runs three core account tiers, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, plus an Islamic variant available across any of them. All three core tiers share the same leverage ceiling, up to 1:200, and the same 5% stop-out level. The difference between them comes down to spread. Gold advertises up to a 50% reduction against Silver's spread, and Platinum goes further at up to 75%. None of that is expressed in actual pip or dollar terms anywhere on HighMarkets' site, so a trader can't tell from the account page alone what a Silver spread costs before deciding whether Gold or Platinum is worth stepping up to. HighMarkets also doesn't publish a minimum deposit figure tied to any of the three tiers, an unusual gap for a broker that otherwise lays out its account structure clearly.

Trading Platforms

Rather than MetaTrader, HighMarkets built its own web platform and mobile app, both running on TradingView’s charting infrastructure. The web version is pitched as a full-screen workspace for deeper technical analysis, with the drawing tools and indicator depth TradingView is known for.

The mobile app trims that down to a simpler, faster interface meant for checking positions and reacting to price moves rather than deep charting on a small screen. Account creation and access to the client dashboard worked without any issues on our end, and TradingView’s charting held up exactly as expected. What we couldn’t do was run either platform through a genuine execution stress test, because the one thing that would have told us the most, closing out a real position and pulling the funds, is precisely where this review stopped.

Tradeable Assets

HighMarkets covers six CFD categories: forex majors, minors, and crosses; metals including gold, silver, and platinum; a selection of major cryptocurrencies; CFDs on internationally listed stocks; commodities such as oil and natural gas; and indices, with the S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, DAX 40, and FTSE 100 named specifically among the markets covered. That's a reasonably broad category spread for a broker of this profile, though HighMarkets doesn't publish an actual instrument count anywhere, so there's no way to know from the site itself how many individual pairs, stocks, or coins sit inside each category.

Deposit & Withdrawal Methods

Funding an account accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, along with bank transfers and select e-wallets depending on region. Card and e-wallet deposits post close to instantly; bank transfers take longer, in line with how that payment rail works everywhere. HighMarkets’ own published policy sets withdrawal processing at up to three business days from its side, after which the timeline depends on the payment provider, and requires full account verification before any withdrawal is released. Our $100 test withdrawal cleared verification and was submitted well within normal conditions. That three-day window has long since passed, and the funds still haven’t arrived, been rejected, or come with any explanation for the hold.

Customer Support

HighMarkets has three support channels, all running 24 hours a day, five days a week: live chat with a stated immediate response, email with a typical one-business-day turnaround, and phone support. We opened a live chat thread specifically about the delayed withdrawal. It didn’t move the situation forward. Whether that reflects a broader pattern in how HighMarkets handles support tickets or just this one case, we can’t say from a single interaction, but it’s worth noting that the channel most likely to get a fast answer didn’t produce one here.

Complaint History

As of September, 2026, Brokers Alerts has zero independently confirmed Report a Broker submissions on file for HighMarkets. Complaint Record reads as insufficient volume to assess rather than a clean track record, since formal monitoring on this brand only began with this review. That score is calculated separately from the withdrawal test above, which drives the Withdrawal Reliability knockout on its own regardless of how many complaints exist elsewhere.

Withdrawal Test Notes

We opened a HighMarkets account, completed the verification steps the platform requires, and funded it with $100 using a card deposit that was posted within minutes. After a short holding period, we submitted a withdrawal request for the same amount through the client area, exactly as HighMarkets’ own policy instructs. The stated processing window is up to three business days. That window closed without payment, without a rejection notice, and without any message explaining what was holding it up. As of this review, the request is still open and unresolved.

Fraud Pattern Checklist

  • Withdrawal past the broker's own deadline: HighMarkets' published policy promises action within three business days. Our funded $100 request passed that window with no payment, denial, or explanation.
  • One license, more than one storefront: DXA Seychelles Limited's Securities Dealer accreditation backs HighMarkets and at least one other trading brand already carrying a Scam Warning on this site, a connection HighMarkets' own site never discloses to visitors.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Holds a genuine Seychelles FSA Securities Dealer license that we could confirm directly on the regulator's own register.
  • Publishes a specific withdrawal processing window (three business days) rather than staying vague about timing.
  • Covers six CFD categories, including named index benchmarks like the S&P 500 and FTSE 100.
  • Charting runs on TradingView across both its web platform and mobile app.
  • Three support channels are available around the clock on weekdays, including live chat.

Cons

  • A funded $100 withdrawal missed HighMarkets' own published deadline with no payment or explanation.
  • Its regulatory accreditation is shared with Algobi, a broker already flagged with a Scam Warning on this site.
  • Seychelles FSA oversight is real but sits well below the protections offered by top-tier regulators.
  • No minimum deposit or concrete spread figures are published for any account tier.
  • Total instrument counts per asset category are never disclosed.

Where This Broker Falls Short

This broker's weakest area is Withdrawal Reliability, its lowest category score at 1 / 10.

Verdict

A broker missing its own stated withdrawal deadline is reason enough to be careful. Finding out that the license behind it also covers a broker we'd already flagged is the part that turns caution into a Scam Warning. HighMarkets isn't built on a fabricated or unverifiable license the way some of the brokers on this site are, and that distinction matters. But a real license shared quietly across more than one consumer-facing brand, paired with a withdrawal that's now overdue against the company's own published terms, describes a business structure that isn't set up to be fully accountable to the individual traders funding it. Until our $100 is paid and HighMarkets addresses its connection to a brand already sitting in Scam Warning territory, Brokers Alerts can't recommend trading here.

FAQ

Is HighMarkets a scam?

HighMarkets carries a Scam Warning because a real, funded $100 withdrawal missed the company’s own published three-day processing window with no payment or explanation, and because its Seychelles license is shared with a broker Brokers Alerts had already flagged before this review began.

Is HighMarkets regulated?

Yes, in a limited sense. HighMarkets operates under Seychelles FSA Securities Dealer license SD218, held by DXA Seychelles Limited, and we confirmed that license directly on the regulator’s own public register. Seychelles is an offshore-tier jurisdiction, and this same license also covers another broker already carrying a Scam Warning here.

How long do HighMarkets withdrawals take?

HighMarkets’ own policy states withdrawals process within up to three business days before handing off to the payment provider. Our test withdrawal missed that window entirely and remains unpaid as of this review.

Is HighMarkets connected to Algobi?

Yes. Both brands operate under the same Seychelles FSA Securities Dealer license, SD218, held by DXA Seychelles Limited, a connection confirmed on the regulator’s own register rather than on either company’s marketing materials.
